Last post?

I'm back in The Netherlands for over a month now. Completely ingeburgerd again. Just a final tip: have a look at this link. I have it on 24/7, just to keep those African memories alive! It's MalaMala, Botswana, by the way.

I also found a place to live in Amsterdam. This is my new address:
Rooseveltlaan 77-hs
1079 AE Amsterdam

Tokyo!

We're in Tokyo for just 24 hours, but have plenty of access to The Web, so there you go... Last night we had dinner in a proper sushi-train restaurant. We now like raw fish even more!

Fraser Island Whales and a little bit of Fiji

These are the dorsal fin and tale of a Humpback Whale mother that we saw together with her calf in the waters around Fraser Island, Australia.

The beach we stayed at the last couple of days in Fiji. It was amazing how we were engulfed in family life there. The sandbridge connecting two islands was just at our doorstep.

Kids playing at our beach. Fijians might well be the happiest people on this planet.

Floor is getting a massage on the beach in Fiji. It's probably just about the most relaxing thing you can ever experience?!

A Green Sea Turtle that I caught snorkelling together with a Fijian.

A view from the two bays we stayed at, taken from the airplane.

Breakfast with a Roo!

The Australian wildlife is amazing. Look at these pictures for now.

Breakfast with a kangaroo, not something you expect!

A rarely-seen Short-beaked Echidna (one of the three egg-laying mammals discovered by man, just like the platypus we also saw), we spotted this one in the dark.

A picture of the sailing trip we took on the Whitsunday Islands! Real Bounty Island stuff.

Scuba diving (picture)

This was great! Scuba diving with (amongs many others) this massive Napolean Maori Wrasse in the Great Barrier Reef, of the coast of Airlie Beach. Yesterday, we made a trip to the outer reef, tomorrow we'll be sailing around the Whitsunday Islands on a 85-feet PURPLE catamaran! We're expecting much. See this picture for now:
